Call is a new day-to-night café and modern American spot serving up a Scandinavian-inspired menu. 

Executive chef Duncan Holmes draws his inspiration from previous experiences in Napa Valley and Scandinavia, presenting menu items such as chicken liver mousse, smoked mushroom tartine and aebleskiver, a traditional Danish dessert. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Call currently holds 4.5 stars out of 26 reviews on Yelp, indicating a good response from diners.

Yelper Aly L., who reviewed Call on March 14th, wrote: "Call is hands down my favorite restaurant in Denver. The atmosphere is casual and playful, but the food is insanely delicious."

John A. noted: "It is a jewel box of a restaurant, small and intimate and
high-design from the interior to the dishware and presentation. Everything is made from scratch, including the freshly baked breads and pastries."

Yelper Maria P. wrote: "It isn't overly crowded, has the friendliest staff, and some of the best light breakfast and lunch fare in town! Everything is made fresh daily, and the menu changes. The bread is so soft and delicious."

Triangle Denver

Triangle Denver is Denver's newest LGBTQ bar, located in the historic Old Triangle Lounge building in the heart of downtown. 

Expect to find a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, fresh farm-to-bar culinary offerings, and lively entertainment each day of the week. The menu features locally sourced and sustainable offerings, such as wagyu beef meatballs with a chili hoisin glaze or a jalapeño cheddar grilled cheese served with roasted red pepper gouda soup. Yelp users are excited about Triangle Denver, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 19 reviews on the site.

Yelper Devon D., who reviewed Triangle Denver on January 20th, wrote: "I'd say this is a great framework for what a bar/club in Denver should be, moderately priced drinks and a beautiful outdoor area with a heated table which has plenty of seating. There's even an upstairs area to look down on the crowd."

Nicole D. noted: "This place has it all and no experience was spared. The food is phenomenal, and they will be serving fresh and tasty takes on bar food. The craft cocktails were perfection, and only $8 each! Would be the perfect spot for a first date!"

Izakaya Ronin

Izakaya Ronin is a sushi bar, izakaya (a Japanese pub) and speakeasy for those seeking a little late-night adventure.

Executive chef Corey Baker delivers a creative assortment of rolls and sashimi dishes. Look for offerings like the Wagyu beef culotte or the Godzilla roll, which includes tempura snow crab and avocado topped with seared beef and garlic butter. Diners can also opt for the omakase menu featuring the chef's selections. (Take a look at the main dining room menu and the speakeasy menu.)

For libations, expect a wide selection of sake, Japanese whisky and cocktails. (Take a look at the bar and drinks menu here.) 

With a four-star Yelp rating out of 45 reviews on Yelp, Izakaya Ronin has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Laura Y., who reviewed Izakaya Ronin on January 16th, wrote: "This place just kills it along all fronts. The decor is absolutely stunning: dark and sexy, it's a fantastic date night spot to set the night off on a good foot."

Yelper Sal S. added: "I loved this place! Delicious food — we got the ramen and the soft shell crab. The ramen was spicy and incredibly flavorful with bits of crispy pork. There is an impressive collection of Japanese whisky and great cocktails. Definitely worth a visit, I highly recommend."

Barcelona Wine Bar Rino

Barcelona Wine Bar RiNo offers "tapas shaped by Mediterranean, Spanish, and South American influences" and nearly 400 wines on its extensive list, the restaurant says on its website.  

Menu offerings include Lamb Cazuela with cannellini bean, feta and mint; spicy eggplant caponata with basil and parsley; and swordfish a la plancha with salsa verde. 

Yelp users are excited about Barcelona Wine Bar RiNo, which currently holds 4.5-stars out of 31 reviews on the site.

Yelper Andres B., who reviewed Barcelona Wine Bar RiNo on April 8th, wrote: "Initial impression: upon walking in, a dude standing atop the bar poured a sangria spritzer into my mouth from a glass, tea-kettle looking container. Service is impeccable on all fronts. Come here with a big group and order bottles of wine and/or sangria and everything on the menu."

Devin R. noted: "Really, really good. They also do accommodate gluten-free diets. The food was great. I highly recommend the pork belly and the wild boar. It just melts in your mouth. Everything was excellent."

Barcelona Wine Bar RiNo is open Monday–Thursday from 4 p.m.–midnight, Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m.–1 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.–midnight.

Wonderlust Salon

Inspired by "the desire to be in a constant state of wonder," Wonderlust Salon is a new salon from Lindsey Kubla, a longtime Denver hairstylist.

The salon features a variety of beauty services for all ages and genders. Look for blow outs, coloring services, beard and mustache trims and more. It also carries a curated selection of hair and makeup products. 

With a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp, Wonderlust Salon has been getting positive attention from its clientele.

Yelper Aarika T., who reviewed Wonderlust Salon on January 6th, wrote: "My stylist, Lindsey, was always considerate and took my needs into account while offering professional perspective."
