If you're craving Korean-style barbecue or ramen, a recent opening is need-to-know. The newcomer to Koreatown, called Cup's, is located at 3064 W. 8th St.

The casual Asian spot's straightforward menu features cups of regular or spicy ramyeon (Korean for ramen), and bowls of meat (beef, spicy pork, chicken or Spam) or seafood over stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables. The bowls can be topped off with one of many sauces, including teriyaki, mayo, sesame oil or, for the more adventurous: Hot Cheetos.

On the side, diners can choose between fried dumplings, sesame donuts or the popular Hawaiian snack Spam musubi—Spam and rice wrapped in seaweed.

Cup's has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Alicia R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 29th, said, "The dumplings were amazing—so crispy and not greasy. The noodles in the ramen were soft but still chewy. The service was really awesome. As soon as we walked in the hostess gave us a complete rundown of the menu. She also gave us sesame donuts while we waited and they were so good."

Yelper Paul S. added, “First time here and the owner of the place is so sweet. The food is just as good. I tried the Hot Cheetos ramyeon and it was surprisingly delicious.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. CUP'S is open daily from 10am–9:30pm.
