Sushi Queen

Sushi Queen is a sushi bar and Japanese chain that offers traditional rolls, specialty rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Don't see anything you like? The chef will make a custom roll just for you.

Aside from sushi, menu items include hibachi, teriyaki, noodle soups, yakisoba, ground turkey eggrolls, fresh spring rolls and Panko chicken.

Sushi Queen's current Yelp rating of 3.5 stars out of nine reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way.

Yelper Asha B. wrote, "Yummy sushi, sweet staff, cool decor. I stopped in to grab some sushi to go. The young lady at the hostess bar took some time and helped me decide what to order because they have so many yummy and unique options."

Suki Akor is a Japanese spot that offers sushi, steak, cocktails and more. According to its website, Suki Akor is located in the New Embassy Suites Hotel and offers complementary valet parking for its guests.

Check out the signature Suki Akor roll, which contains shrimp tempura, asparagus, cucumber, cheese, spicy tuna and salmon.

Suki Akor currently holds 3.5 stars out of 21 reviews on Yelp, indicating a fair reception.

Yelper Siran T. wrote, "The service was great. The maki was good, about $16 for ten pieces. There was a good selection of sake. I did not regret giving the place a try, but the food can definitely be better, give the price level."

Poke Bar is a sushi bar, Hawaiian and Asian fusion chain new to Charlotte. Look forward to customizing your poke bowl with four types of bases (white rice, brown rice, spring mix and kale noodle nacho), eight types of protein (tuna, salmon, tofu, spicy tuna, octopus and more), and an array of sauces, mix-ins, sides and toppings.

Poke Bar currently holds four stars out of 12 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Kate A., who was one of the first users to visit Poke Bar on April 17, wrote, "Picked up two bowls, which were both delicious. Beware that the spicy mayo and the spicy tuna are both pretty spicy. Loved the addition of avocado."
