The orange juice is freshly squeezed, which always gets bonus points from me. I might try their breakfast sandwich next time, because it looks huge. Welcome to the neighborhood!"

Great service. I can't wait to come back and try everything that's on the menu!"

Yelper Bob K. added, “Be sure to try the Burrata appetizer ... a unique experience and the cheese is made fresh on-site. The grilled octopus was perfect. The list of pasta dishes has something for everyone—vegetarians, fish lovers, meat eaters."

As its name suggests, Redcrest Fried Chicken is a fried-chicken shop that also offers an array of sandwiches, classic Southern sides and both vegetarian and vegan options.

The chicken comes in two flavors, buttermilk and spicy, and can be accompanied by a plethora of $1 sauces, including buttermilk ranch, blue cheese, barbecue, spicy honey, buffalo and more. Sides include mac and cheese, corn pudding and coleslaw. For dessert, there's a biscuit bread pudding drizzled in chocolate, caramel and whipped cream.

Redcrest Fried Chicken currently holds four stars out of 54 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper John C. noted, "The food took a little longer to come out than I expected, but only because the chicken was fried to order: a very impressive feat for this small place that is clearly dedicated to the craft! The buttermilk chicken sandwich was very good. In time, the thighs came out hot and incredibly crisp with an audible crunch. Excellent! The bun was soft and piled high with crisp and sour pickles and enough lettuce to keep you interested."

Yelper Morgyn S. wrote, "The chicken is to die for. Super flavorful. Large amounts of food for very good prices!"

Redcrest Fried Chicken is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
