Interested in trying some new yoga studios in Seattle? You're in luck: we've found a lineup of places to fill the bill. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're searching for a yoga session around town.

The SIX

The Six is a new yoga and wellness studio in Westlake.

The studio offers yoga classes every day of the week, including gentle Vinyasa classes and an upbeat version set to top 40 and hip-hop beats in a room heated to 90-95 degrees. There are also two infrared saunas set to 150 degrees and three-minute cryotherapy sessions, where nitrogen gas rapidly cools the body to help reduce soreness and joint pain.

Clients can stop by The Six's bar after a session for a juice, açaí bowl or smoothie, like the Biggie Breakfast smoothie, which includes an espresso shot, almond milk, chocolate protein, cacao nibs, blueberry, maca and peanut butter. 

With a five-star Yelp rating out six reviews, The Six has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Steph G., who reviewed The Six on May 15, wrote, "Their hours are super convenient, and they have the best customer service."

Andriela G. noted, "Great new addition to the Seattle yoga scene. I love hip-hop and this is the type of music that fuels me during my practice. The Six reminds me of the Y7 studios in NY and LA, except they offer a lot more with a juice and smoothie bar, cryotherapy and sauna."

The Six is open from 6 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.–7 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. on weekends.

Earth Wind Fire Yoga

Earth Wind Fire Yoga is a studio "that caters to your whole being," the business' website states

Run by Madzy Besselaar, Alice Harper and Jaime Scates Schmitz, Earth Wind Fire offers varying classes five days a week, including Vinyasa flow, a tension release  session using therapy balls and a flexibility class geared for athletes.

With a goal of building community, challenging students' fitness and building balanced bodies, the studio also hosts workshops, retreats and other special events.

Earth Wind Fire currently holds 4.5 stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Brooke W., who reviewed Earth Wind Fire on February 11, wrote, "... I have rarely found such consistently excellent yoga instruction as I've experienced with this group of teachers."

Liz I. noted, "I have searched high and low for yoga across Seattle and am hooked on Earth Wind Fire and their beautiful studio space! The little touches of essential oils, fresh flowers and tea make it feel like you're emerging from a spa."

Earth Wind Fire is open from 6 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 6 a.m.–5:30 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Wednesday and Sunday.)

Sangha Yoga

Sangha Yoga is a yoga studio offering classes inspired by Eastern philosophy and modern mindfulness teachings.

Run by Scott and and Heather Falkin, Sangha offers classes in a wide range of styles, including traditional practices like Hatha, Bhakti and Ashtanga Vinyasa, a modern Kicksana class set to an upbeat playlist, and prenatal and family sessions. 

Sangha offers special deals for newcomers: one free drop-in and $45 for unlimited classes for two weeks. 

So far, Sangha Yoga has garnered one five-star review on Yelp.

On February 19, Melissa K. wrote, "I have taken yoga all over the US and this was definitely a top-three experience. Super friendly staff, elegant sequencing, great temperature, seductive lighting, great community price."
