Get your caffeine fix at new Blue Bottle Coffee in downtown BostonPhoto: B T./Yelp

Experiencing a midday slump and need a coffee? You're in luck: the new Blue Bottle Coffee has opened its doors in downtown Boston.

Located inside The Exchange, the new glass atrium at 100 Federal St., at a kiosk situated amid an airy, open dining area, it's the second Blue Bottle Coffee in Boston and offers up specialty coffees, teas and liège-style Belgian waffles.

With a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Blue Bottle Coffee is getting solid feedback from its clientele.

Anthony L., the first to review the new coffee joint on Yelp, said, "It's so nice to finally have a Blue Bottle Coffee in downtown Boston. There are plenty of seats and table space to enjoy your coffee and liège waffle."

Yelper Mindy L. added, “For an 8-ounce cafe latte and a piece of rhubarb pound cake, I paid over $10 this morning. It's a little too pricey and a bit too fancy for a Dunkin' Donuts aficionado like myself, though I will say that the cafe latte was made beautifully by the barista. It required no sweetener as the taste was lovely and mild with no bitter notes. ”

Swing on by to try Blue Bottle Coffee for yourself; they're open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekends.
