National chain Dunkin' Donuts recently opened a new outpost in Charlotte. According to its website, popular donut flavors include the vanilla frosted, chocolate glazed and jelly.

Yelp users are excited about Dunkin' Donuts, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of two reviews on the site.

Yelper Feleisha M. wrote, "Friendly cashier, who smiled and was helpful. They seem to keep a good variety of donuts ready."

Bruce K. noted, "Great little DD that's in the new Shoppes plaza at the corner of Keynes and North Tryon. The usual selection of donuts and sandwiches (breakfast and otherwise), plus the coffee I needed this morning to get me going. There are seats inside and a few with umbrellas outside."

Dunkin' Donuts is open from 5 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday, and from 6 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.

Golden Cow Creamery

Golden Cow Creamery, a chain that offers ice cream and frozen yogurt, recently opened a new location in Charlotte. According to its website, Golden Cow Creamery provides hand-crafted small batches of ice cream that "incorporate fresh fruit, spices, candy, and ... favorite comfort foods.

Look for six classic flavors (rich chocolate, creamy vanilla, fresh strawberry, mint chocolate chip, salted Oreo and dunkaroos) and a rotation of three to four new flavors each month. 

With a four-star Yelp rating out of 19 reviews on Yelp, Golden Cow Creamery has been getting positive attention.

Yelper John M., who was one of the first users to visit Golden Cow Creamery on March 15, wrote, "Very nice and polite cashiers. Enjoyed the salted Oreo. Not very crowded and not too expensive. Small comfy environment in a family-friendly neighborhood."

Grant J. noted, "The service was great and fast and I was able to get a few samples before deciding what I wanted. I got the salted Oreo and it was really good! Their ice cream is a little more creamy so it is really soft and sweet."
