In search of a new favorite Brazilian spot?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best high-end Brazilian restaurants around Dallas, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fill the bill.

1. Rafain Brazilian Steakhouse

Topping the list is family-owned Rafain Brazilian Steakhouse. Located at 18010 N. Dallas Pkwy. in Far North Dallas, this spot is the highest-rated upscale Brazilian restaurant in the area, boasting four stars out of 401 reviews on Yelp.

Having established its first Southern Brazilian Churrascaria in 1959, three generations of family recipes have come together to create this elegant and refined steakhouse, relates the restaurant's website. Showcasing the true flavors of Brazil, expect to find churrasco (grilled meat carved from a long skewer), roasted pineapple with cinnamon and an extensive salad bar.

2. Texas De Brazil

Next up is nationwide churrascaria Texas de Brazil, situated at 2727 Cedar Springs Rd. in Uptown. With four stars out of 229 reviews on Yelp, the Brazilian steakhouse has proven to be a local favorite for those seeking a little indulgence.

With locations across the country, this chain cooks a wide selection of meats over an open flame on large skewers and then carves them up tableside. Dinner is $44.99 for adults and includes unlimited meats — including filet mignon wrapped in bacon and parmesan-crusted pork loin — and trips to the salad bar. The 7,700-square-foot restaurant also has an extensive drink menu with happy hour specials on weekdays in its bar.

3. Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse

Uptown's Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, located at 2619 McKinney Ave., Suite 150, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the fancy Brazilian spot 4.5 stars out of 63 reviews.

The churrascaria joins the chain's other locations throughout the United States, as well as Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Middle East and Brazil. Like its sister restaurants, the dinner menu at Fogo Dallas features a variety of fire-roasted cuts of meat and seafood, a buffet packed with salads, veggies, soup, and feijoada — a traditional black bean stew with rice, fresh orange and yucca flour. An extensive wine list, cocktail program and indulgent desserts rounds out the menu.
