Emery at El Corazon

Emery performs live at El Corazon this Friday night. The Seattle-based post-hardcore band has rocked Billboard's Christian charts, but is also known for taking a DIY approach to bringing its "BadChristian Music" to the people, including launching its own record label and performing in living rooms, coffee shops and parking lots across the country.

Pigs on the Wing's Pink Floyd tribute at Nectar Lounge

Pink Floyd tribute band Pigs on the Wing takes to the stage Friday night at Nectar Lounge. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the band's veteran rockers are set to perform a two-set retrospective followed by a full rendition of Pink Floyd's 1973 concept album "The Dark Side of the Moon."

When: Friday, June 1, 8 p.m.- Saturday, June 2, 2 a.m.

Opulent Temple's White Party at Canvas Event Space


Slip into your favorite blazing white costume, and join Opulent Temple for its seventh annual "sacred" dance party. The EDM stage production company, which grew out of the popular Burning Man camp, promises appearances by local DJ Ian Powers, LA's Trent CantrelleSan Francisco's Syd Gris and others, on top of a slew of aerial performances and ambient art in motion.
