2018 Summer Evenings at the National Arboretum: Rochelle Rice

The free summer concert series at the National Arboretum is featuring jazz singer and composer Rochelle Rice this Thursday at the Meadow. The organizers, Friends of the National Arboretum and the Washington Youth Garden, recommend packing a picnic and bringing lawn chairs for the performance, but do not allow dogs or alcohol.

Inaugural Chinatown Block Party

The first season of Chinatown's weekly summer block party continues, with activities like record-scratching with a real DJ, graffiti, a large-sized chess board, t-shirt silk screening, and more.

Absolut Listen Up Day Party!

The vodka brand Absolut is sponsoring a day party at nightclub The Park at 14th, complete with four food stations and 10 vodka-based cocktails. The food is free, as are the first three drinks, until 10 p.m. At that point, the club will be open as usual until 3 a.m.
