4th Ave. Espresso Bar

4th Ave. Espresso Bar is a cafe and bakery that recently debuted inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. It offers coffee and a variety of handmade pastries, from eclairs to macarons to elaborate plated treats like the mango pistachio cake, raspberry lemon tart and salted caramel cheesecake. 

4th Ave. Espresso Bar's current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of three reviews indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Charbel K., who reviewed 4th Ave Espresso Bar on May 26, wrote, "Great coffee, greater selection of savory and sweet items. Desserts are fantastic, especially the exotic mango and the lemon yuzu tart!"

And Yelper BurienRon wrote, "Delightful elegant little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Seattle. Independent too, and not part of some huge monopoly. Delightful treats and sandwiches available."

Freya

Housed in the all-new Nordic Museum, Freya is a cafe and Scandinavian spot offering traditional eats like smorrebrod (open-faced sandwiches), personal smørgåsbords and Danish-style hot dogs made with Uli's Famous Sausages. On the sweet side, you'll find classic treats like pepperkakor (gingersnaps) and toscakaka (almond cake). 

In keeping with its Nordic roots, Freya's cocktail menu is heavy on Scandinavian spirits like aquavit and brennevin. 

Yelp users are excited about Freya, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of three reviews on the site.

Lucas D. noted, "Really good casual Nordic cafe inside the Nordic Museum. For food, Mormor's pantry smorgasbords was very good. The food is on the lighter side, so if you're hungry you might want to get two items."

And Yelper L L. wrote, "Really good food and reasonable prices. Museum cafe, but the menu items are so unique I would stop in on any occasion."

Freya is exclusively open during museum hours: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday, and 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Thursday. (It's closed on Mondays.)

Cafe Con Todo

Dog- and kid-friendly Cafe Con Todo has a Latin American vibe, with tropical plants and hammocks for guests to swing in. The drink menu includes Slate coffee, Steepology tea and Humm kombucha, with beer and wine in the afternoons. 

On the food side, visitors will find breakfast sandwiches and lunch options like a vegan wrap or roast beef sandwich, as well as treats like almond croissants and cherry-apricot-pine nut tarts. 

Yelp users are excited about Cafe Con Todo, which currently holds five stars out of three reviews on the site.

Yelper Joe R. noted, "Excellent tea and coffee, fantastic pastries, and great service all delivered in a hip yet relaxing space ... I love the vibe and will definitely be a repeat customer!"

Yelper Meghan W. wrote, "Slate coffee, dialed in just right. Tasty gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly breakfast and lunch options. The hammocks give it a beachy vibe."

Cafe Con Todo is open from 7 a.m.–6 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday.

Marc Blackwell

Equal parts cafe and interior design shop, Marc Blackwell is the place to go for a stylish cup of coffee. The cafe serves French-press coffee and chai tea, along with snacks like pastries and yogurt parfaits. Customers can browse the shop's home wares and design books as they enjoy their drinks.

Marc Blackwell's current rating of five stars out of five reviews on Yelp indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Sumaiya H. noted, "This just looks like an interior decor store from outside, but there's a lovely cafe with a full drink and food menu! Great ambience too, you can browse the art and books while you're there."

Yelper Di D. wrote, "I love this place! Browsing the home goods is always a delight, and the cafe bar itself is wonderful. Great coffee, chai, and more, plus their all-day brunch offerings hit the spot."
