Mahony's Po-Boys & Seafood
901 Iberville St., French Quarter

Mahony's Po-Boys & Seafood specializes in Creole fare and is located on the corner of Iberville and Dauphine streets.
With an alternate location Uptown on Magazine Street, this establishment serves up New Orleans barbecued oysters with sliced dill pickles and Tabasco ranch; crawfish almondine with brandy butter and charred lemon; fried shrimp, oyster or catfish po'boys; and grilled jumbo shrimp with fried green tomatoes and remoulade.
Mahony's currently holds a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
"Just opened but really worth the bet," Yelper Vic L. said. "Waitstaff is great, and drinks are absolutely on point. Try the coconut mojito. Food was solid and really tasty."
Yelper Mary F. wrote, "The peacemaker po'boy with oysters is a must try. I also discovered the ham and cheese is delicious. They bake the ham with root beer and brown sugar, which gives it a syrup-like glaze."

Madam's Modern Kitchen + Bar

Next up is Madam's Modern Kitchen + Bar — a Creole and New American spot, offering seafood and more, courtesy of the former chef at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The bill of fare at Madam's is a mix of Louisiana cuisine with a bit of Latin and Asian flair. Chef Drew Mills offers crawfish ravioli, charbroiled oysters, burgers, ceviche, raw tuna over fried rice cakes and steak frites.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp, Madam's Modern Kitchen + Bar has been getting positive attention.
Yelper Angela B., who reviewed the restaurant on June 21, wrote, "This place is just amazing. My partner and I came to eat here and everyone was just so friendly and went above and beyond."
Yelper Vera A. wrote, "One of my favorite places to come on Friday night, I love the place, the food and the people."

At Creole restaurant Morrow's, not only will you find crab cake Benedict and steak and eggs on the menu, but jumbo sautéed crab claws in garlic herb sauce also make an appearance.
Other menu offerings include barbecued shrimp in spiked butter sauce; stuffed mushrooms with lump crabmeat dressing; traditional New Orleans filé gumbo; and a selection of the ubiquitous fried seafood po'boys.
Morrow's has a current rating of three stars out of 35 reviews on Yelp.
"Great restaurant in one of my favorite parts of town," Yelper Teneha B. said. "Locally owned and operated, near my neighborhood and helping to fuel the economy, I'm all in."
Zoe D. noted, "Great place for a causal chill. This is my second time eating here and this spot is always on and popping. It's a new spot, so it's attracting all types of crowds."

Last but not least is The Governor Restaurant & Seafood Bar — a Creole and New American restaurant.
On the menu, look for raw oysters with citrus soy sauce and pickled cucumber; baked oysters with brie and roasted garlic butter; duck and andouille gumbo with Creole potato salad; shrimp and crab cake sandwiches; and sugar kettle roasted salmon with ginger, garlic, roasted grape tomatoes and blasted Brussels sprouts.
The Governor Restaurant & Seafood Bar's current rating of 4.5 stars out of 34 reviews on Yelp indicates positive feedback from diners.
"The food was just amazing — plain and simple," Yelper Ricki F. said. "My friend had the eggs Pontchartrain and decided it was so delicious that she would eat in silence to savor the flavor. I had the pork potato bowl and the flavors were jumping out at me. It was delicious and I look forward to my next meal."
