10 Foot Pizza is a spot to score pizza and more with an offbeat atmosphere in the French Quarter.

The centerpiece of the room is an oversized magnolia tree surrounded by Tim Burton-esque murals, Beatlejuice-inspired sculptures and quirky decor.

Customize your own pizza with unusual toppings like Cajun shrimp, fried alligator and braised pork shoulder — or choose from pies like the Hail Seitan, a vegetarian pizza topped with vegan cheese, wild mushrooms and jalapeños; or the Buffalo "Bill," topped with mozzarella, Buffalo chicken, pork belly and green onions.

10 Foot Pizza currently holds five stars out of two reviews on Yelp, indicating positive attention.

"Fantastic pizza and great atmosphere," Yelper Bridget T. said "We loved our pizza and it was fun to sit at the bar. Highly recommend."

Yelper Hollie J. added, "This place is so cool. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and thought into the artwork and decor. I loved the magnolia tree in the center, and the pizza was delicious."

10 Foot Pizza is open from noon–2 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and noon–4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Love & Pie is a pizzeria located in the Mid-City subdistrict of Tulane/Gravier.

Get ready for interesting pies like the Friend of the Devil, topped with chipotle barbecue sauce, sharp cheddar and Cajun-spiced chicken; the Shakedown Supreme, featuring marinara, pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell peppers and roasted mushrooms; and the Green Thumb, with cherry tomatoes, roasted peppers, artichokes and arugula.

Love & Pie's current Yelp rating of five stars out of one review is getting the parlor off to a good start.

"One of the best pizzas I've ever had," Yelper Noah B. noted. "I had the Cajun persuasion, which was to die for. The shrimp and the sausage were amazing and could be eaten by themselves — but coupled with the great ingredients on the pizza and the crust — you have one of the best pizzas ever."

Love & Pie is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Stop by on your way to the lakefront and pick up sandwiches like the Meatballer, made with homemade meatballs, red gravy and mozzarella; the Harold, stacked with mortadella, salami, cheese and arugula; and the Veggie, made with eggplant spread, feta, squash and red bell peppers. Looking forward to them adding gluten-free options down the road. Will fully support this place and hope more restaurants come out here."
