Breezy Town Pizza is the newest creation from Dave Lichterman, the founder of Windy City Pie.

The business opted to go with the new name as the pizzas are inspired by, but don't strictly adhere to the styles made famous in Chicago and Detroit, Breezy Town Pizza says on its website. The deep-dish pan pizza is made with sourdough and topped with a blend of mozzarella and Wisconsin brick cheese.

Customers can build their own pizzas with 20 topping choices or opt for a specialty pizza like the spicy meatball (Wisconsin cheese, red sauce, sweet hot peppers, meatballs and hot giardiniera) or the Bluto (Wisconsin cheese, red sauce, spinach, mushrooms, olives and blue cheese).

Breezy Town Pizza currently holds four stars out of 22 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Chris K., who reviewed Breezy Town Pizza on May 23, wrote, "That crust! Oh man! Stopped by Breezy after work today and grabbed a plain slice and a pepperoni/meatball slice ... So tasty."

Bryan K. noted, "Breezy Town Pizza is a sister location to Windy City Pizza. If you've been to Windy City Pizza, you already know what to expect. Deep-dish heaven."

Breezy Town Pizza is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.–1:30 a.m. on Friday, 11–1:30 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Sunday.
