Looking to chow down on some Italian fare? Rocco's Italian Deli has you covered. Both an old-school Italian sandwich shop and specialty grocery store, the new arrival to Midtown is located at 3627 Cass Ave.

Menu items include the Want Nonna to Make You a Meatball? (house meatballs, marinara, mozzarella and grated Parmesan), The Breast Chicken Parm (fried chicken cutlet, marinara, mozzarella and grated Parmesan), Hard Proof Prosciutto Means Love (prosciutto di parma, mozzarella, oven-dried tomato, basil pesto and lemon) and the Il Rocco (hot soppressata, mortadella, fontina, spicy red pepper relish and garlic-lemon aioli).

Pair your sandwich with coffee, wine, beer or a featured cocktail. (See the full menu here.)

Rocco's Italian Deli has made a good impression thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Mimi L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 16, said, "My husband and I shared the meatball sub. It was simply perfect. There is not one thing I would change about it. The meatballs were incredible. The bread was just right. The sauce was just right. We also had a couple of cocktails, which were very well prepared. The atmosphere is great."

Yelper Sarah S. added, “This is the cutest hipster deli in Detroit! Specialty groceries, a bar, deli meat, sandwiches, salads and vegetarian options. Cool atmosphere and an outdoor patio. Make sure you check this place out for dinner or lunch, it's so good sometimes they sell out!"
