Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top sushi hot spots in Pittsburgh, using both Yelp data and our own special marinade to produce a ranked list of the best spots to satisfy your cravings.
1. Mount Everest Sushi
Topping the list is Mount Everest Sushi. Located at 128 Oakland Ave. in Oakland, the sushi bar and Asian fusion spot, which also offers poke, is the highest rated sushi spot in Pittsburgh, boasting 4.5 stars out of 140 reviews on Yelp.
On the menu, look for the signature Steeler Roll, which has salmon, shrimp tempura, cucumber and avocado.
2. Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille
Next up is Strip District's Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille, situated at 2106 Penn Ave. With four stars out of 363 reviews on Yelp, the sushi bar and cocktail bar is a proven local favorite.
Look for half-off sushi deals on Thursdays.
3. Té Café
Squirrel Hill South's Té Café, located at 2000 Murray Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the sushi bar 4.5 stars out of 100 reviews.
If you're looking for recommendations, try the Cranky Crab Roll or the Twin City Roll.
4. No. 1 Sushi Sushi
No. 1 Sushi Sushi, a sushi bar and Japanese spot in Central Business District, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 95 Yelp reviews. Head over to 436 Market St. to see for yourself.

"They give you huge portions of sushi and they have daily specials so it's not too expensive. I got a whole roll and a green salad for $13.95 can't beat that. Everything is super fresh and it doesn't take a long time for them to make your food."
5. Pittsburgh Poke
Over in Central Business District, check out Pittsburgh Poke, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 92 reviews on Yelp. You can find the sushi bar and poke bowl joint at 500 Liberty Ave.
