Topping the list is China House. Located at 4506 Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield, the eatery is the highest rated inexpensive Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh, boasting four stars out of 35 reviews on Yelp.

Reviewer Dowdy G. wrote, "This is my go-to Chinese place. Everyone has their favorites for General Tso's and/or Sesame Chicken, but if you haven't eaten here, both are among the best."

2. China Lin

Next up is Upper Lawrenceville's China Lin, situated at 5500 Butler St. With four stars out of 24 reviews on Yelp, the Chinese spot has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a cheap option.

According to Yelper Will R.:

"The prices are fantastic. They do that thing that I love at Chinese places where they offer both a pint option and a quart option for most of their dishes. Solid. I was able to get a breathtaking amount of food for around $25 dollars, including Hot and Sour soup for $1.80, which seems joyfully illegal."

3. China Taste

East Allegheny's China Taste, located at 630 E. Ohio St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the inexpensive Chinese spot four stars out of 16 reviews.

"My fiancé and I moved to the area a little less then two years ago and up until now, we have been unsuccessful in finding our neighborhood go-to spot when it comes to Chinese," wrote A R. on Yelp. "This is it. It's inexpensive and tasty."
