Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top places to visit in Brookline, using both Yelp data and our own methodology to produce a ranked list of neighborhood businesses. Read on for the results.
1. Fiori's Pizzaria
Topping the list is Italian spot Fiori's Pizzaria, which offers pizza and more. Located at 103 Capital Ave., it's the highest rated business in the neighborhood, boasting 4.5 stars out of 274 reviews on Yelp.
"This is some really great pizza," wrote Yelper Stacey B. "It is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, gooey cheese and crispy, doughy crust"
"I really enjoyed the food here," added Raymond B. "The cheese pizza was probably some of the best I've had."
"Fiori's Pizzaria was like finding a unicorn," wrote Patrick P. "I have heard so much about it from life-long residents, but never had the opportunity to visit myself."
2. Las Palmas Carniceria
Next up is Mexican spot Las Palmas Carniceria, situated at 700 Brookline Blvd. With 4.5 stars out of 208 reviews on Yelp, it's a proven local favorite.
"The fresh tortillas filled with great meat selections and then the bar of build-your-own options makes for a great dinner," wrote Megan G. "An inexpensive dinner that is fantastic is worth the drive."
"This place has the best tacos I've ever had. It puts other tacos to shame really. It's super cheap too," added Austin Z.
"I love the cheap prices and fun finds in the grocery store but the taco stand is the real gem," wrote Yelper Caitlyn B.
3. Pitaland
Bakery and cafe Pitaland is another top choice. Yelpers give the business, located at 620 Brookline Blvd., 4.5 stars out of 86 reviews.

"I was in heaven while strolling through this place. Run by a lovely family who enjoy providing quality food and working with each other. It is contagious and it's what I think of as a happy place because the vibe is good."
"Best Middle Eastern food around," added Joe T. "Both groceries and hot foods are incredible."
"The cafe inside is probably one of the best kept secrets around," wrote Michelle L. "The falafel plate is a steal, and they make our favorite falafel in Pittsburgh."
4. Jolina's Mediterranean Cuisine
Jolina's Mediterranean Cuisine, a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern spot, is another much-loved neighborhood go-to, with five stars out of 31 Yelp reviews. Head over to 1011 Brookline Blvd. to see for yourself.
"This place tops it all for me," wrote Yelper Veronica B. "As many times as I have driven on this road, I have never even noticed it, until I finally slowed my roll. Jolina's is a cute little family owned restaurant."
"The chicken shawarma has a really great flavor and their tahini sauce is so delicious," added Kimberly S. "It has a tang to it that makes it so smooth, I want to put it on everything."
5. Parker's PGH
Lastly, check out Parker's PGH, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 66 reviews on Yelp. You can find the breakfast and brunch spot, which offers sandwiches and bagels, at 600 Brookline Blvd.
"We've been looking for a decent breakfast bagel shop for years, and we finally found it," wrote Yelper Cody K. "The ingredients were fresh, the coffee was great, and the staff was so friendly."
"They have wonderful breakfast sandwiches and the staff behind the counter is always friendly and talkative," added Kate K. "It has a real neighborhood feel, and its always nice to pop in and chat."
