Shake Shack is an American fast-food chain with eateries all over the world.  This is its only outpost in North Carolina. According to its website, its burgers are made with all-natural Angus beef, with no hormones or antibiotics, and served on a non-GMO potato roll.

Look for the specialty ShackBurger, a single or double cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato and ShakeSauce. There's also a selection of hot dogs, as well as a fried chicken sandwich. And, of course, Shake Shack offers several different kinds of shakes and floats, including peanut butter, strawberry and caramel.

Shake Shack currently holds 3.5 stars out of 125 reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.

Yelper Amanda L. wrote, "There is nowhere that offers a chicken sandwich like the one at Shake Shake! I strongly urge you to indulge in the deep-fried, wet-batter-covered chicken with pickles and lettuce and the most buttery soft delicious bun ever!"

Candyce B. noted, "The burger was delicious! It was cooked up hot and fresh and had great flavors. The french fries are crinkle cut and delicious. The milkshake was so thick and yummy."

Shake Shack is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. from Monday-Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Yelper Jessica H. wrote, "This restaurant had a nice, dependable breakfast. I got two scrambled eggs, a cup of berries, cinnamon toast and an americano. My husband had a hash Benedict thing that he really enjoyed."
