Yelper Natasha K., who reviewed Basilic Essentially Thai on July 7, wrote, "Let me say, hands down, we were impressed with everything there. The immediate friendly customer service won us over, even if the food wasn't so great. But that wasn't the case either, our food was exactly how we like Thai food."

Yelper Santiago N. wrote, "We started off with the tom ka soup, spiced to level three, and added pork for the meat. Also had the fried calamari for the appetizer. The soup was perfectly spiced and had a nice balance of coconut flavor, with a hearty texture that came from the generous portion of diced mushrooms and pork slices."

Basilic Essentially Thai is open from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and 4 p.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and noon–3 p.m. and 4 p.m.–9 p.m. on weekends. (It's closed on Monday.)

Sal y Limon is a Mexican spot and bar that recently debuted in the former Ten Mercer space. The restaurant comes from Jesus Magaña, who owns the Mi Tierra restaurants in Monroe and Woodinville and Fogon on Capitol Hill, along with his son Alexis.

On the menu, there are classic street tacos with fillings like carne asada and al pastor pork; plated entrees like fajitas and chicken mole; and vegetarian options. To drink, there are more than a dozen margarita options, including the Chile Mango (añejo tequila, Patron Citronge, fresh mango, chile powder, fresh serrano pepper and a spicy rim).

Sal y Limon currently holds 4.5 stars out of 55 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Edgar C., who reviewed Sal Y Limon on June 6, wrote, "Coming from California, which has the best Mexican food, It's very challenging to find authentic food and Mexican hospitality. Sal y Limon makes me feel like I'm home."

Steve S. noted, "I ordered the veggie enchiladas, which were about $13 for a medium-sized portion. Some restaurants serve sour cream with enchiladas, which I don't like, so I asked for no sour cream; they either got that right or don't include it anyway. The enchiladas were delicious."

Sal Y Limon is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
