There's a brand-new wine bar in Bellevue. Located at 258 106th Ave. NE in Downtown, the newcomer is called Cepae.
A collaboration with Belltown-based La Parisienne Bakery, with which it shares its new Bellevue space, Cepae is dedicated to showcasing wines from the portfolio of the importer of the same name. The majority of its 120+ vintages come from France, with a handful of options from Washington and Canada.
Drinkers can sample a variety of wines by the glass, paired with quiches, sandwiches and other small bites from La Parisienne. According to the Seattle Times, Cepae also hopes to offer brunch and dinner service down the line.
The new wine bar has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Rsmry W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 10, wrote, "Highly recommend for wine, cheese, pastry, coffee and relaxing. Excellent service. Bottles available to try, purchase and take home. Pastries are amazing!"
And Carrie C. wrote, "We popped in this afternoon for lunch and a glass of wine during the soft opening week. I had a super tasty salmon and spinach quiche and my husband had a chicken sandwich with lemon on fresh bread. Yum! Friendly staff and a comfy patio made for a longer stay then expected."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Cepae is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday, 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, and 7 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
