If you're seeking some sensory deprivation in the quest for relaxation, a new float spa has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 111 N.W. 85th St. in Greenwood, the new addition is called Oasis Float Spa.

With its six private float rooms, Oasis is "designed to make it effortless for you to chill," according to its website. Each room comes equipped with its own changing area, shower, and spacious float pool, in which visitors can quietly float in highly salinized water and experience a spontaneous meditative state.

According to the owners, "Your brain will calm down naturally when you relieve your body of gravity and the stimuli of sight, sound and touch. After 60 minutes of floating, you’ll emerge completely relaxed and rejuvenated!"

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has already made a good impression.

Dennis M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 7, wrote, "After years of wanting to try floatation therapy, I finally went to Oasis Float Spa in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood, and I loved it! Even better than I expected."

Yelper Ashley A. added, “This was my first time floating and I thought it would be too zen for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The facility is brand new and clean, and offers all the amenities you need."

And Andy L. wrote, "This place is awesome. It is very clean, relaxing, and the staff is friendly. Go: you need it, deserve it, and will love it."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Oasis Float Spa is open from 7:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m. daily.
