Looking for a new spot to grab a cup of coffee and bite to eat? The Mighty Oak Cafe & Bistro has you covered. The family-owned coffee and sandwich shop recently opened its doors at 20219 Carlysle St. in Dearborn.
Breakfast fare is available from 7:30–11 a.m. Monday-Saturday and includes offerings like a bacon, egg and cheddar cheese sandwich; almond butter and banana on raisin bread; and oatmeal with toppings. Later in the day, try a chicken, BLT or veggie panini, or build your own salad with options such as walnuts, blueberries, feta and sun-dried tomatoes.
The cafe also has a menu of caffeinated beverages ranging from espressos, Americanos, mochas, lattes and macchiatos to hot and iced teas and chai tea lattes. Take a look at the full menu here.
The Mighty Oak Cafe & Bistro has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
R.S. B., who reviewed the new spot on July 10, wrote, "We've been in a handful of times now, mostly for coffee (hot and iced), some snacks. Friendly folks doing their best, clean and lovely interior, small but great menu with sandwiches and salads, and baked goods."
