Orangetheory Fitness West Seattle is a boot camp, gym and personal training spot offering hourlong workout sessions split into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training.

The large fitness chain gives participants heart-rate monitors to track intensity and to enhance and maximize metabolic burn. Memberships come in three packages: Orange Basic, Orange Elite and Orange Premier. Check out the website for more information and a full range of classes.

Planted Pilates & Wellness was founded by Jacqui Patek and focuses on breathing techniques, meditation and wellness, per its website

Catering to all fitness levels, classes include everything from standard pilates to yoga and meditation to barre, which is a mix of pilates, dance, yoga and functional training.

After your workout, stop by the wellness bar for a freshly pressed juice or smoothie, a cold brew coffee or a snack bar. The location shares a space with a massage therapist.

Planted Pilates & Wellness is off to a promising start with a current Yelp rating of five stars out of six reviews.

Yelper Meg R., who reviewed the studio on June 30, wrote, "I love this studio. I live abroad and practice mat pilates several times a week. I was visiting family in Seattle during the month of June and had signed up for an introductory private reformer session with Sarah P.  I had such a great session, I inquired about signing up for the month."

Pandora Fitness features 30-minute express classes for those who need a quick workout during their lunch breaks. Try out this new gym and get your first two sessions on the house.

On its website, Pandora says it wants to help participants "master the foundation of human movement to maximize your daily activities." Set to high energy music, the classes are a varied blend of high-intensity interval training, full-body strength work and deep restorative stretches to melt fat, increase muscle tone and improve conditioning. 

Different classes are offered daily, and memberships come in three forms: monthly plans, punch cards and prepaid long-term plans. Workouts are available for all fitness levels and focus on strength, endurance and mobility.

Pandora Fitness has received positive feedback with a current rating of five stars out of four reviews on Yelp.
