Topping the list is Jade Grille. Located at 670 Washington Road in a former bank, the Sichuan restaurant is the highest rated sushi spot in Mt. Lebanon, boasting four stars out of 170 reviews on Yelp.

One can dine in an old bank vault at this joint while enjoying specialty rolls like the Volcano Roll, with yellowtail, cucumber, crabmeat and avocado on the inside, and spicy tuna on top; the Joker Roll, filled with shrimp tempura and jalapeño peanut sauce; and the Samurai Roll, with tuna sashimi and black tobiko on top of spicy tuna and cucumber. 

Yelper Chang K. wrote, "This place recently became our new favorite. My husband and I had tried their chili fish, mapo tofu and sushi. It was the most authentic Asian food in Pittsburgh. Definitely coming back again and again!"

2. Little Tokyo

Next up is Little Tokyo, situated at 636 Washington Road. With four stars out of 159 reviews on Yelp, the sushi bar and Japanese spot has proven to be a local favorite. Several specialty sushi combinations are on offer along with handrolls, maki and nigiri. The menu also includes hibachi, tempura, teriyaki and udon noodle dishes. 

"This place is amazingly delicious and always packed," Yelper Stephany M. said. "Best sushi in the area. I love sitting at the sushi bar and watching them make it. They also have a full menu and delicious drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant."

3. Red Tea House

Last but not least, Red Tea House is another top choice. It's located at 1717 Cochran Road and Yelpers give the sushi bar and Chinese spot four stars out of 60 reviews.

Get ready for a large selection of sushi plus a vast array of menu items like ginger chicken, moo goo gai pan, pork with garlic sauce, sweet and sour shrimp, hot and sour soup, chicken wings, vegetable lo mein, beef with broccoli, avocado salad and Hunan beef. 

"This place is so good. Everything I've ordered is great and they are so friendly. Chinese is delish and sushi is amazing!" wrote Yelper Steve C.
