Interested in getting the lowdown on the newest business additions to Waltham? From a sushi bar to a video game arcade, read on for a list of the newest hot spots to make their debuts near you.
Hakata Ramen & Sushi

Hakata Ramen & Sushi recently opened its doors in Waltham at 895 Main St. at the former Sabatino’s Italian Kitchen space. The owners also operate restaurants in Quincy and Boston's Back Bay (Shin Hakata Ramen), reports Eater Boston.
Ramen comes with pork, miso or vegetable broth, with toppings like chashu, egg, tomato, dried seaweed, avocado and more. Sushi offerings include spicy tuna, eel avocado and yellowtail rolls, as well as nigiri and sashimi.
"Hakata is new and is going to quickly become a top favorite of Waltham, so you need to get there ASAP for some of the best sushi I've ever had!" wrote Yelper Caedyn B. "Everything is fresh, clean and very modern, the waitstaff are really nice, and honestly, the only downside to the location is the parking situation (but that's to be expected on Main Street)."
Game Underground

Next, head over to 349 Moody St. and you'll find Game Underground. It buys and sells vintage video games and game consoles, and offers full-sized arcade games to play. There's a mix of classic favorites and Japanese imports. You'll also find newer console titles hooked up to large TVs for you to try out. Tournaments are held here as well.
Brothers Marketplace - Waltham

Finally, Brothers Marketplace - Waltham is a new grocery store that's located at 1 Moody St. It specializes in fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses, locally made products and prepared meals. There's a salad bar with daily soup options, but the store lacks the restaurant menu of the Medfield outlet. Hard-to-find vegan items like plant-based cheeses and marshmallows are also on offer.
