Uptown Hophouse

Uptown Hophouse is a sports bar that offers 24 taps, large televisions and a number of munchables to pair with your beverage. Most of Uptown's beer offerings are from the Pacific Northwest.

Look for brews such as Crux Gimme Mo IPA; Hood River's Pfriem IPA; or Black Raven Coco Jones Coconut Porter.

Hungry? Check out a variety of options like a hummus plate, Korean bibimbap tacos, a cheese and salami board or a Cubano sandwich. Visit the bar's website for more information and a full menu.

With a 4.5-star Yelp rating out of three reviews, Uptown Hophouse has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Phil S., who reviewed it on Aug. 11, wrote, "Attentive servers that are friendly and knowledgeable. Best wings we've had in a long while. I'm betting the food is good all the way around. Adult beverages are on point as well."

Paul H. noted, "Uptown Hophouse is a great place to come and watch the game. They have great food. I had the Cubano. It was awesome. I really dig this place!"

Uptown Hophouse is open from 2 p.m.–midnight daily.

Magnuson Cafe & Brewery

Magnuson Cafe & Brewery is a brewpub that combines caffeinated and alcoholic beverages with lunch and dinner fare. It also features a large deck with waterfront views.

Try fried cheese curds, Cobb salad and fish tacos for lunch. At dinnertime, look for summer mushroom pasta, lamb bolognese or a house cheeseburger with fries. Weekend brunch options include breakfast burritos, veggie scrambles and brioche French toast.

Thirsty? Try signature brews like the fruity and festive Riddler Sour Ale with amarillo hops; the tropical Hop Fog IPA with special aromatic malt flavors; or the dry and hoppy River Pig Pale Ale. Check out the website for a full list of food and drink options. 

With a four-star rating out of 25 reviews on Yelp, Magnuson Cafe & Brewery is off to a strong start. 

Laura L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 31, wrote, "Great deck with a beautiful view, great service, great beers on tap and vegan nachos with house-made cashew-based queso!"

And Cole D. wrote, "I was ecstatic when I first heard that a brewery was going in here when it was announced a few months ago. Based on this first visit, I can happily say that it has lived up to and exceeded all of my expectations."

Magnuson Cafe & Brewery is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m.–midnight on Saturday, and 8 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday.

Ridge Pizza NE

Ridge Pizza NE offers sandwiches, pizzas and other snackable appetizers along with a full range of libations. It is the second location, with another in Phinney Ridge.

Look for draft beer, wine and signature cocktails like the bourbon-based Davern Lock with orange and lemon juices and simple syrup served in a mason jar. 

Hungry? The menu features turkey meatballs with marinara; the Farmer's Market sandwich complete with roasted eggplant, artichoke hearts, arugula and Italian dressing; and a classic Caesar salad with chicken. 

Yelpers are still warming up to Ridge Pizza NE, which currently holds 3.5 stars out of 24 reviews on the site.

Yelper Pearl R., who reviewed it on Aug. 6, wrote, "It seems like the staff could use a little more experience with large groups. That being said, the drinks and pizza were good! They have a great beer selection. The pizzas came out great."
