A new Italian bakery and cafe has opened up shop in the Denny Triangle through a partnership with Starbucks. Called Princi, it is located at 2118 Westlake Ave. The bakery has outposts in Milan and London but this is its first stand-alone store in the U.S., the Seattle Times reports.

Princi was established in 1986 by famed Italian baker Rocco Princi, with Starbucks becoming an investor and global licensee in 2016, per a news release

Offerings include artisan bread, fresh pastries and breakfast and lunch fare, including the classic Margherita pizza, custard brioche and ciabatta bread made from Italian-milled flour. Salads, soups and sandwiches are also on offer.

In addition to Starbucks coffee, the new bakery and cafe serves beer, wine and cocktails.

With a four-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has gotten a good response.

Elizabeth N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 1, wrote, "They have an array of sweet pastries and savory dishes, including sandwiches, traditional rectangular-shaped pizzas, and salads. They have loaves of bread and slices of cake as well. In the back is a lovely bar and there's also a nice seating area outside."

And Lorina C. wrote, "The pastries are to die for. Croissants, focaccia, flatbreads, etc. The interior is beautiful and cozy. The employees are dressed in crisp, clean uniforms. The ambiance truly makes you want to stay awhile."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Princi is open from 7 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekends.
