Nori

New Korean restaurant Nori has opened its doors in Hampden. Located at 850 W. 36th St., it's in the space formerly occupied by Corner Charcuterie Bar. Stop in for sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi and ramen.
Rice dishes include bulgogi bibimbap and kimchi bokkeumbap (Korean fried rice). Poke aficionados will find seven different options, including a vegetarian one with tofu. A full bar means sake, beer, wine and cocktails are available.
"Our sushi boat looked absolutely gorgeous and was fresh to the taste," wrote Yelper Lena K., who reviewed the Korean eatery on Aug. 2. "Did not have to wait long to get served. ... Adored the intimate dining experience, polite staff. I love fresh sashimi and Nori is the perfect spot for it."
The Pizza Trust

A new addition to Belvedere Square Market, The Pizza Trust has made its debut at 529 E. Belvedere Ave. The thin-crust oval-shaped pizzas are quick fired for a crispy, slightly charred result.
Signature recipes include the Mobtown, made with garlic oil, fresh mozzarella, crumbled feta, artichokes, Kalamata olives, caramelized shallots, roasted red peppers, toasted pine nuts and pesto drizzle, and the Funcle Pie with garlic oil, cheese blend, roasted wild mushrooms, caramelized shallots, truffled white sauce and shaved Parmesan. Wings, shoestring fries and salads are also on offer.
HomeSlyce JHU

Finally, there's HomeSlyce JHU, a new addition to Charles Village at 3333 N. Charles St. Part of a growing local chain, HomeSlyce is in the former PJ's Pub space and is serving up pizza and New American food in a casual setting.
Premium pizzas include one with shaved steak and garlic herb sauce, and another with chicken breast, Kalamata olives and pesto sauce. There are also calzones, sandwiches, and soups and salads. A full bar rounds out the offerings.
