Looking for a new spot to get waxing done? A growing chain of waxing-only studios is here to help. Called Waxing the City, its newest location is at 2166 Massachusetts Ave. in North Cambridge.
Head-to-toe waxing services are available for men and women. This includes Brazilian waxing and full leg waxing, as well as face waxing like brows and lips. The estheticians are fully licensed. (See a full list of services here.)
The new studio has earned five stars out of seven reviews on Yelp thus far, indicating a strong start.
Asia M., who was the first Yelper to review the business on Aug. 14, wrote, "Best Brazilian wax I've ever had. I've been living in Cambridge for the last five years and struggled to find a wax place that I like. I'm so happy I took a chance and found this gem."
Viola S. added, "This place is great. Wonderful and very professional. I do have a lot of hair and always have problem waxing — painful and a lot of money — but now that I found this place I am great. They did the same thing for less money, painless and very comfortable."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Waxing the City is open from 9 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
