Autumn Bike Campout

This event features a 25-mile one-way bike ride to a campsite in the Carver Park Reserve. It will be the second such event hosted by Joyful Riders Club this season. Meet up in the morning and have brunch with the group before embarking to the campsite. Load up your tent, sleeping bag and other goodies on your bike, or hand it off to one of the volunteers who will drive it there for you. Limit one bag. Food and drinks will be available upon arrival to the campsite.

Minneapolis Social Fitness Day

Celebrate being healthy by coming to this gathering of dynamic fitness instructors and studios. Expect fitness events such as yoga, boot camp, Zumba, cardio boxing, high intensity interval training and much more. In addition to adult classes, kid fitness sessions will also be on offer. Food trucks will be on-site for nourishment. End the day by dancing a mile through Nicollet Mall.

Hewing Hotel Concert Series featuring Sam Cassidy

Come up to the rooftop of Hewing Hotel for great views of the surrounding area and smooth melodies courtesy of Sam Cassidy, whose musical tones have been described as a "unique brand of hard-luck, blue-collar rock." Cassidy has been at work on a follow-up LP to his debut, which featured tracks like “Caffeine” and the lead single “Hard Road.”
