G's Local Taco Bar

New to 2200 Market St., Suite 114, in Five Points is G's Local Taco Bar, a Mexican spot, offering tacos, chicken wings and all-day breakfast options like the Cowboy burrito with egg, potato, bacon, sausage, country gravy and cheese. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Wolf's Tailor

Now open at 4058 Tejon in Sunnyside is Wolf's Tailor, a New American spot featuring housemade pastas, plant-based dishes and binchotan charcoal skewers. 

According to its website, the restaurant is helmed by renowned chef Kelly Whitaker, who created the menu based on his "collaborations and travels through Italian kitchens and Asian night markets." 

Yelper Marie L., who reviewed the new eatery on Sept. 7, wrote, "Such an inventive menu — Italian and Japanese fusion! Highly recommend the bread, seven brisket and squash skewers, and pork ribs as well. Overall, an amazing dining experience!"

    Stroll past 3550 W. 38th Ave. in West Highland and you'll find Snappy Nails & Spa, a nail salon and day spa that bills itself as "a haven of relaxation promoting comfort, beauty, well-being and health."
