1. City Cycle

Topping the list is City Cycle. Its stadium-style arrangement means there are good views of the instructor from every bike. The standard ride is 45 minutes under colorful lights and driven by a pumping playlist; an extended ride goes an extra 15 minutes. Amenities include complimentary cycling shoes, private lockers, showers, towels and a blow dry bar. Located at 117 N.W. 85th St. in Greenwood, it is the highest-rated cycling class spot in Seattle, boasting five stars out of 38 reviews on Yelp.

2. Flywheel Sports - South Lake Union

Next up is Flywheel Sports - South Lake Union, situated at 224 Westlake Ave. North, Suite 100. It also has stadium cycling. Classes range from the basic Method, which is a high-intensity, mixed terrain ride with an upper-body component; Power, which is even more intense, but with no upper-body section; and Tempo, a rhythm-driven workout with core-strengthening athletic movements. The chain also offers off-bike classes using free weights and high-intensity drills, or a more-relaxing yoga-style workout. With four stars out of 163 reviews on Yelp, it has proven to be a local favorite.

3. CycleBar

The range of classes includes a high performance edition, which uses stats, competition and group challenges to motivate riders. It offers the use of free shoes and coded lockers. Yelpers are fans of the cycling studio, giving it 4.5 stars out of 49 reviews.
