Yelper A C. wrote, "So delicious! The food is thoughtful and near perfect. We talked about the chicken legs and the green tomatoes for two weeks straight after our first visit. I also love that the space is small and pretty minimal."

Bao House
514 S. King St., International District

Bao House is an Asian fusion spot offering bao sandwiches and drinks such as coffee, smoothies and bubble tea.
On the menu, look for barbecue pork, pork and duck bao (steamed rolls with filings), as well as snacks like popcorn chicken and onion rings. Pair an oolong, black, red or green tea with your fare, or opt for a strawberry or kiwi shaved ice.
Bao House's current rating of 3.5 stars out of 34 reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is still finding its way.
Yelper Nita P., who visited the eatery on Aug. 19, wrote, "I feel it's worth the price for the roast duck bao. They give thick pieces and the bao itself was also yummy with flavor."
Monica W. noted, "I was so disappointed with this place! I ordered the roast duck bao, and it had the tiniest piece of duck on it. I literally hadn't finished eating half of the bao before all of the duck was gone."
Bao House is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
