25th anniversary of 'Don't Believe the Hype'

Come celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Don't Believe the Hype" — a television show created by and for teens to discuss daily issues faced in their communities. The event will include Hype Crew members from the program's 10-year run.
Food and drink will be provided, including a cash bar and drink ticket for each attendee.

Engineers Without Borders fundraiser

Interested in learning how Engineers Without Borders originated?
Visit the Urban Growler Brewing Co. this Friday evening for an inside look at the program and to learn more about its future. The fall fundraiser will feature keynote speaker Dr. Bernard Amadei and all proceeds will go to two main projects currently in the works — a school in Guatemala and a water distribution system in Honduras.
Ticket price includes beer, appetizers and a donation to Engineers Without Borders.

Becoming Hmoob

Last but not least, join your friends at In Progress for Becoming Hmoob — an art workshop designed to identify ideas toward becoming Hmong, an ethnic group in East and Southeast Asia.
Artwork created during this experience will be exhibited to the public, with the intent of igniting conversations throughout the Hmong community.
The art-making workshop begins this Saturday and will include a light meal and free child care.
