A new unisex hair salon has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 3524 Butler St. in Lower Lawrenceville, the fresh arrival is called Alchemy Dry Cut Lounge.
The salon touts its method of cutting hair with the trendy "dry cut" technique (where hair is shampooed and then dried before cutting, rather than cut while wet) that is currently popular with celebrity stylists.
Services include women's and men's haircuts, coloring, event styling, beard trims, extensions and more. Clients can book an appointment through the business's Yelp page.
With a five-star rating out of ten reviews on Yelp so far, the new hair salon has been warmly received by patrons, as we recently reported.
Karla D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 2, praised the owner, Heather, and called her haircuts, "Super professional, modern, edgy and just perfect. Decor is welcoming and beautiful. Staff is professional, knowledgeable and kind."
And Yelper Bridget K. advised, "If you think you are too dark to go blonde or nervous about breakage - see Ashley, or any of the girls at Alchemy, they are all truly experts at their craft."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Alchemy Dry Cut Lounge is open from noon–8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
