Park Hill Pizza Pie 1M/5K/10K & the Little Pepperoni Fun Run

Grab a pair of running shoes and bring an appetite for the Pizza Pie Run at City Park in Park Hill this weekend. The event will feature three different runs: the 1 mile that starts at 8 a.m., the Little Pepperoni Youth Run at 8:40 a.m. and finally the 5K and 10K run at 9 a.m.

Medals and T-shirts will be given out to participants. There will also be plenty of offerings from Park Hill Pizza Pie to enjoy.

When: Saturday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

15th annual Great Candy Run

Bring the family out this weekend for the sweet-themed 5K run and walk, which includes a competitive Stroller Division. Kids 10 and under can compete in the free Jelly Bean Kids Fun Run. The event benefits the Fetal Health Foundation. 

Sweet bites will be available at the four tasting booths at Jelly Belly Village. Prize money will be awarded and top finishers will receive medals.

The family festival features games, activity stations, face painting, giveaways and more.

When: Sunday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: Washington Park, South Downing Street and East Louisiana Avenue
Price: $30 for seniors (60 and over) and kids (12 and under); $40 for adults
