MIT Wind Ensemble: Prism Concert Spectacular

The fourth annual prism concert will feature music from the MIT wind ensemble, directed by Frederick Harris, as well as the Blanchard Memorial Elementary School Concert Band. There will be a full wind ensemble and brass, percussion and woodwind chamber.

When: Friday, Nov. 30, 7-8:30 p.m.

Beyond Words – Neave Trio

The Neave Trio will perform works from Roussel, Korngold and Shostakovich, including Seven Romances on Poems by Alexander Blok. The trio will be accompanied by Longy faculty member Karyl Ryczek.

Gamelan Galak Tika

Gamelan Galak Tika is Boston's oldest Balinese performance ensemble. Their 26th season begins with traditional Balinese music and dance, as well as world premieres of four new compositions. 

When: Saturday, Dec. 1, 7:30-10:30 p.m.
