Spark Policy Institute's November Social Innovators Breakfast

Over breakfast, learn how social organizations are working to create "responsive and accessible systems for all" in public health and social justice. Organizations represented in the panel will include Denver Opportunity Youth Initiative, Denver Public Libraries, Colorado Cross Disabilities Coalition and Close to Home Campaign.

Live by Living's 10th anniversary celebration

Live by Living, an organization dedicated to connecting cancer survivors and caregivers with opportunities to experience nature — throughout organized hikes, retreats and more — will celebrate its 10 anniversary this Thursday evening. Throughout the fundraiser, expect a silent auction, live music, food and drinks, and special guests.

When: Thursday, Nov. 15, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Wayfinder Co-op, 525 Santa Fe Drive
Admission: $75 suggested donation

Declaration Brewing Co.'s 5K run for beer 

Runners, walkers, joggers and spectators are welcome to join a fun run with Declaration Brewing Company. As part of the Colorado Brewery Running Series, which has donated almost $6,000 to local nonprofits, the untimed 5K course that will begin and end at the Declaration Brewing Company. After the run, participants can hang out, enjoy beer offerings and live music. 

All participants will receive a free craft brew, a collectors pint glass or seasonal items from the Brewery Running Series, plus goodies and door prizes from sponsors.

When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: Declaration Brewing Company, 2030 S. Cherokee St.
Admission: $30 for 5K beer run/walk; $40 5K beer run/walk and T-shirt
