Topping the list is cafe and breakfast and brunch spot Original Breakfast House. Located at 13623 N. 32nd St., it's the most popular business in the neighborhood, boasting 4.5 stars out of 1,410 reviews on Yelp.
On the menu, expect breakfast fare like omelettes, pancakes and waffles as well as fried chicken and french toast plus burgers, sandwiches and salads for lunch. Yelpers recommend the raspberry chocolate chip pancakes and the Ham Stacked Jack that comes with thin sliced ham on grilled sourdough with melted Monterey Jack cheese, sliced tomato, pickle slices, lettuce and Thousand Island dressing in the afternoon.
"Delicious and fulfilling is the easiest way to describe my visit to the original breakfast house," Yelper Eliyahu G. said. "I picked up the big gooey scramble mess and my wife had some baked pancake/waffle dish with fresh berries on them. Both were incredibly good and fulfilling. The staff was really helpful, attentive and efficient."
2. Paradise Valley Burger Company

Next up is traditional American spot Paradise Valley Burger Company, which offers burgers and more, situated at 4001 E. Bell Road, Suite 102. With 4.5 stars out of 1,220 reviews on Yelp, it's proven to be a local favorite.
Burgers are the main attraction on the menu, which also offers hot sandwiches, tacos and a variety of shakes and malts. The PV Bacon Chz Burger with a side of fries was a hit with Yelpers as was the shrimp club sandwich with a side of french toast fries.
Yelper Atul S. wrote, "It's like a gem in Phoenix Valley. We had eight folks together and not a single person disliked this place. You must try it if you are burger fan."
3. The Sicilian Butcher

Traditional American and Italian spot The Sicilian Butcher, which offers sandwiches and more, is another top choice. Yelpers give the business, located at 15530 N. Tatum Blvd., Suite 160, 4.5 stars out of 878 reviews.
The Sicilian Butcher offers the unique opportunity for customers to pick from 15 craft meatball varieties to combine with a pasta and one of nine sauces or to build-your-own charcuterie board.
Order the Uncle Arthur's N.Y. Meatballs with ground lamb, beef, provolone cheese, garlic and fresh herbs and top it with amatriciana sauce (tomato, pancetta, onions and bayleaf) and spaghetti. For the charcuterie board menu, enjoy artisanal cured meats and cheeses, toast points and polenta fries.
"The waitress quickly went over the menu, we decided to try a charcuterie board complete with mozzarella, burrata, and balsamic glaze pearls," Yelper Erica M. said. "This board alone would be a reason to come back! It was beautifully displayed and very tasty."
4. Coconut's Fish Cafe

Coconut's Fish Cafe, a spot to score seafood, fish and chips and poke, is another much-loved neighborhood go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 825 Yelp reviews. Head over to 16640 N. Scottsdale Road to see for yourself.
The menu includes tacos, sandwiches, baskets and pasta dishes with fish and seafood. Yelpers raved about the poke bowl that features raw Ahi Poke, pickled cucumber, ginger and red onion with radish, mangos, edamame and avocado over brown rice and mixed greens. The fish tacos, which come with grilled Ono and Mahi Mahi and 17 ingredients, were also a hit.
Jeff P. wrote on Yelp, "I typically order the Grilled Mahi Mahi 'Local Style' over rice and it is top notch. You have an assortment of seasonings available to you, from Asian Flair and Cajun to simple salt, pepper and butter. The coleslaw it comes with is also super flavorful."

Check out Rusconi's American Kitchen, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 626 reviews on Yelp. You can find the New American and breakfast and brunch spot at 10637 N. Tatum Blvd.
On the menu, look for a combination of land and sea options.
