Craving desserts? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 6000 Penn Ave. in East Liberty, the new addition is called The Milk Shake Factory.
The business uses farm-fresh dairy, locally sourced from Rivendale Farms. Try The Chocolatier, a chocolate shake with brownies, hot fudge and chocolate chips, topped with whipped cream and brownie fudge caramel. Or opt for the Birthday Cake shake with rainbow sprinkles topped with whipped cream and brownie fudge caramel. The business also offers a wide variety of chocolates, including truffles and barks.
The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Renee J T. wrote, "My shake was chocolaty and creamy, with just a touch of peppermint and tiny bits of brownie."
