1. Pancake Joe's

Topping the list is Pancake Joe's. Located at 1011 Donaldson Ave., it's the highest rated breakfast and brunch restaurant in San Antonio, boasting 4.5 stars out of 856 reviews on Yelp.
On the menu, you'll find dishes like the Jalisco Omelet with seasoned chicken or beef fajitas, green bell peppers, tomatoes, sauteed onions, mushrooms, Monterey Jack cheese, salsa verde, sour cream and green onions; the steak and egg plate with a New York strip, two eggs any style and ranch potatoes or hash browns; and the Cowboy Breakfast with three eggs, three biscuits with gravy and either bacon, sausage or ham.
Harrison B., who reviewed it on October 18, said, "This place has great food with large portions. I got the Idaho Omelet, which has potatoes and sour cream and bacon like a loaded baked potato with cheesy eggs. It was awesome! I also got a side of pancakes with added chocolate chips."
2. La Panaderia

Next up is La Panaderia, situated at 8305 Broadway. With 4.5 stars out of 678 reviews on Yelp, the Latin bakery and breakfast and brunch spot, serving sandwiches and more, has proven to be a local favorite. It has another popular location over at 301 E. Houston St.
You'll find breakfast and brunch sandwich options like the chorizo and scrambled egg with black beans; the El Buenas Dias with egg whites, avocado, bacon, turkey, tomato and cilantro mayo; and the Chicken Milanesa with cilantro mayo, Swiss, pickled jalapeño and guacamole lime. 3. Pete's Tako House

Pete's Tako House, located at 502 Brooklyn Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Tex-Mex breakfast and brunch spot, which offers tacos and more, 4.5 stars out of 623 reviews.
It serves breakfast tacos like the chorizo and potato, the potato and egg and the bean and cheese. Over in Dignowity Hill, check out Panchos and Gringos, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 399 reviews on Yelp. You can find the deli, diner and breakfast and brunch spot at 900 Nolan St.
Breakfast and brunch options include the Hillbilly sandwich with scrambled eggs, corned beef hash and melted cheese on a toasted roll; the Mess omelet with cheddar, grilled green peppers, onions, calabaza, chopped ham, sausage and bacon; and the Zambrano's egg platter with two eggs any style, homefries, pico de gallo, cheddar, bacon, beans and tortillas.
