Hoppy Holidays with Emerging Leaders United

Join Emerging Leaders United (ELU) and fellow young professionals for their annual night of fun, networking and local craft beer while supporting those who need a little extra help and holiday spirit this season. ELU is a network of over 1,500 young professionals, ages 21 to 40, interested in building connections and having fun with a purpose.

During this event, attendees can sign up to volunteer at an upcoming holiday-themed event or make a gift that will be used to provide holiday meals, winter clothing or toys.

When: Wednesday, November 7, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Main Squeeze at The 8x10

Hailing from Bloomington, Indiana, The Main Squeeze is set to take the stage at The 8x10 this Thursday evening. The American funk band started as a party band at Indiana University and has since relocated to Los Angeles. Expect a blend of soul and hip-hop, funk and rock, and a “soulful, powerful and unique" sound, as the band's guitarist Max Newman describes it.

When: Thursday, November 8, 8 p.m.-Friday, November 9, 1:30 a.m.

Super Science Sleepover: Stranded

Get stranded at the Maryland Science Center's sleepover. Children ages five and up, and their adult chaperone, will learn to navigate the stars, design their own duct tape gear and use their science skills to overcome obstacles.

All of the science center's exhibits will be open for exploration and special activities will be located throughout the building. Guests will sleep on the second floor and breakfast will be provided the next morning.

When: Friday, November 9, 5:30 p.m.-Saturday, November 10, 9 a.m.
Where: Maryland Science Center, 601 Light St.
Admission: $40 for members; $45 for non-members

R&B Only Tour at Rams Head Live!

Colors Worldwide Inc. is bringing the R&B Only Tour to Baltimore this Friday night. One of the largest celebrations of R&B music across North America, guests can expect a memorable dance experience.
