A steakhouse and New American spot, offering seafood and more, has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 155 W. Big Beaver Road, the newcomer is called Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill.
With several locations across the United States, this marks the first Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill location in Michigan. The new steakhouse offers a fine dining experience and serves a selection of hand-cut steaks, seafood, salads, desserts, signature cocktails, wine and beer.
Brunch, lunch and dinner options are available. For brunch, enjoy the steak and eggs entrée, made of grilled ribeye, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Also, try one of the seafood dishes such as the whiskey shrimp on country toast with a Dijon beurre blanc sauce.
At dinner, look for specialty dishes like the Berkshire Farm pork chop in a bourbon cherry sauce, served with garlic mashed potatoes and haricot verts.
With a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the new steakhouse is getting solid feedback from clientele.
Mario K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 4, wrote, “The family had a nice time at brunch today. The menu offered a nice variety for all appetites and brunch was unique but good and the coffee was great.”
Yelper Tim K. added, "I had the Cowboy Ribeye with caramelized onions, mashed potatoes and a side of macaroni and cheese. The steak was cooked exactly to my desired temperature and was simply seasoned and was accompanied with an herb butter that gave it an additional kick. The macaroni and cheese was probably one of the best I have ever had. “
