Schoolhouse Rock Live!

The ReAct Theatre will perform Schoolhouse Rock Live! on Monday and Tuesday at 12th Ave Arts. The entire family will enjoy this fun musical that is based on the beloved cartoon shorts from the 1970s such as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly," and "Interplanet Janet."

The White Snake

The 12th Ave Arts is hosting The White Snake, a Chinese folktale in which a snake spirit transforms herself into a beautiful woman in order to experience the human world. Directed by ReAct's Artisitic Director, David Hsieh, this production is the first to present an entirely Asian ensemble.

A People's History

Mike Daisey explores the side of American history that is not taught in school in the timely A People's History, a solo act this week at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. From Columbus to today's explosive political climate, Daisey explores the history of those fighting to make America live up to its ideals, and the times when we've fallen sadly short.

Campfire

Take a trip back to the campfires of your childhood when these Seattle storytellers spin spooky stories around the fire during a production at the Unexpected Productions' Market Theater on Thursday. The improvisers gather true-life events from audience members and turn them into campfire stories and hilarious scenes. The show may contain adult language and themes and is not recommended for audience members under age 13.
