Home for the Holidays
First, Calvary Women's Services hosts "Home for the Holidays", an evening of merriment for a cause. Calvary Women’s Services offers housing, health, education and employment programs that empower homeless women in D.C. This event will support that mission, while promising delicious food, signature cocktails and incredible views of the National Mall.

6th Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence
Next, December 14th marks the sixth anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. The Newtown Foundation marks the day with a vigil service at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. By joining them, you will help to shine a light on the impact of gun violence in the nation.

One Journey Global Holiday Market
Finally, support refugees at One Journey Festival's Global Holiday Market. It's free to attend, but bring your wallet to pick up jewelry, handcrafts, baked goods, coffee, clothing, accessories and more, all from refugee entrepreneurs. Proceeds will help those participants, as well as organizations supporting refugees.
When: Saturday, December 8, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
