Seasons 52 is a wine bar and New American spot, offering seafood and more.
Choose from a menu of seafood, flatbreads, salads, desserts and other dishes. Seasons 52 also has a varied bar list consisting of cocktails, wine and beer. Start the meal off with an appetizer of lump crab and shrimp-stuffed mushrooms that is rolled in a panic crust and served with creamed spinach . For dinner, try a seafood entree like the wood-grilled boneless rainbow trout which comes with roasted vegetables, crushed potatoes and grilled lemon. Cap off the meal with one of the restaurant’s signature cocktails such as the pomegranate margarita martini (Chavo Malo Tequila, Patrón Citrónge and pomegranate juice).
With a 4.5-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp, it's off to a strong start among local diners.
Mike K., who reviewed it on Dec. 12, said, “At the bar, I was very surprised by the knowledge the bartenders had of the menu and the cocktails. Even though it was the soft opening, they knew the menu and explained to me in detail what the dishes were. I chose to have the filet mignon, which was very very fairly priced. It arrived warm and presented perfectly."
Kelly F. added, "Great atmosphere, great service, good vibe. Cauliflower appetizer was delicious, chopped Greek was fab too."

Detroit Taco Company

Detroit Taco Company is a new Mexican spot.
Detroit Taco Company serves not only tacos, but nachos, bowls, burritos, quesadillas and salads. Select any one of the six items as a meal and add a choice of Mexican rice, white rice, pinto beans or black beans. There are also many protein fillings to pick from, such as barbecue pork, fish, shrimp and even just veggies. Each meal can be topped with shredded muenster cheese, queso sauce and any number of other ingredients and salsas. Order to go a plate of hard tacos with marinated and char-grilled steak and pile on the rice, black beans, few veggies and medium salsa.
With 3.5 stars out of 20 Yelp reviews, it's getting solid feedback from clientele thus far.
Joe C., who reviewed it on Nov. 1, said, "Love this place! Great, fast, affordable Mexican food. I have eaten here four times since my office is next door, and every time it gets better. The place looks so cool and is comfortable to sit for lunch and dinner."
Jon F. added, "Amazing food. I love that each meat has its own flavor and consistency. Amazing atmosphere. Fantastic staff. I will be eating here multiple times a week."

Stoney River

Stoney River is a new steakhouse and New American spot, offering seafood, grilled items and more.
Beyond hand-cut steaks, the fine dining restaurant also offers seafood, salads, signature entrees and side dishes, dessert, wine and more. Try the grilled cold water salmon from Norway, served Szechaun-style or naked, which comes with Jasmine rice and sauteed spinach. Or go for the trio of filet medallions that’s horseradish encrusted and comes with bleu cheese and béarnaise. Add a side of caramelized onion mashed potatoes for extra indulgence.
The new spot has 36 reviews on Yelp so far, which put it at a strong four-star rating.
Yelper Laura G., who reviewed it on Nov. 14, wrote, "This place was really delicious. Stopped by last week for lunch. Portion sizes were out of control. Come here hungry! I'm excited to come back and try out the bar one evening. It was very nicely decorated as well."
Timon A. noted, "The staff was great. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was great. Had the baby kale salad, which was worth mentioning, it was that good. The fresh bread was also just as good. They served it with cinnamon butter. The prime rib sandwich was amazing."
