Newest. Coolest. Gifts. From Independent Makers

The Alameda Station Ace Hardware is hosting its second annual "Newest. Coolest. Gifts." event on Thursday.

Visitors can look at unique gifts from around the country, see the products in action and meet some of their makers. In addition, Divino Wine & Spirits is holding a wine tasting while 5280 Culinary BBQ Provision is supplying appetizers.

DITEX Holiday Social and Toy Drive

The DITEX Team is hosting a toy drive and networking event on Thursday at Lewan Technology. Anyone attending is asked to bring an unopened toy, or a $20 gift card for a teen or single parent. Attendees will enjoy drinks, appetizers and holiday fun.

Global Gift Festival

Modern Nomad and R Bazaar are organizing the Global Gift Festival, which runs Friday through Sunday at Modern Nomad. Local refugee- and immigrant-made art will be available for purchase, along with food and drinks. There will be live music and entertainment each day.

Brunch with Father Christmas

The Four Mile House is hosting Brunch with Father Christmas on Saturday. In addition to the meal, provided by Relish Catering and Events, activities will include holiday crafts, a Yule log hunt, tours of the Four Mile House decorated for the season and a photo with Santa. Children 2 and under eat free.

When: Saturday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa

Maggiano's Little Italy is hosting Breakfast with Santa on Sunday morning. In addition to the meal, there will be cookie decorating, Christmas crafts and a visit by Santa.
