A new wine bar and New American spot, offering seafood and more, has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 1000 W. Big Beaver Road, the new arrival is called Seasons 52.

The new restaurant offers a varied menu of seafood, flatbreads, salads, desserts and other dishes. Seasons 52 also has an extensive wine list. Sample the garlic pesto chicken flat bread, made with mozzarella, balsamic cipollini onions, roasted red peppers and arugula. Pair it with a glass of the Harvest Sun, California Chardonnay.

Look for main plates like the lobster ravioli, which has Maine lobster, shiitake mushrooms and sherry-lobster sauce. Or opt for one of the many grilled entrees, like the wood-grilled pork tenderloin that has roasted vegetables, sweet potato mash and zesty jus.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar has already made a good impression.

Mike K., who reviewed it on Dec. 12, said,  “At the bar, I was very surprised by the knowledge the bartenders had of the menu and the cocktails. Even though it was the soft opening, they knew the menu and explained to me in detail what the dishes were. I chose to have the filet mignon, which was very very fairly priced. It arrived warm and presented perfectly."

Kelly F. added, "Great atmosphere, great service, good vibe. Cauliflower appetizer was delicious, chopped Greek was fab too."

Head on over to check it out: Seasons 52 is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
