'One To Another' at Artpace

Celebrate the launch of "One to Another," the latest exhibition at Artpace by the Borderland Collective.

The collective is an evolving group that has worked with hundreds of participants on exhibitions challenging perceptions on a range of topics, including comparing the experiences of displaced families abroad and within the US, and documenting personal stories from the U.S.-Mexico border.

Led by artists Mark Menjivar, Molly Sherman and Jason Reed, "One to Another" focuses on migration stories collected from across the country but also assembles forensic archives, sound and video installations, United Nations hearings and an actual refugee housing unit. The artists aim to encourage viewers to contemplate their own familial migration stories within the context of larger migration narratives.
